3 Degrees of Reiki
Reiki for self

In this technique, one learns hand placements to use when sharing Reiki with family or friends, either through a full session or an abbreviated chair session, as well as how to offer Reiki in acute situations and through informal “spot therapy.” This is usually an 8 to 10 hours session or 1 day.


Distant healing procedure

After you have mastered self-healing techniques, you will be taught how to give healings at a distance. You will be taught to replace the hand-to-body contact with a mental connection when needed so that healing can be offered even when touch is impossible or inappropriate. You may take 10 days to 21 days to learn these techniques.

Reiki masters

After this second degree, you can be a Reiki master. You will be prepared to devote your lives to teach people to practice Reiki. It is more like training under the guidance of a Reiki master to teach other people how to carry out Reiki. Becoming a Reiki Master also represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice. Some feel that significant time should pass between achieving the Second Degree status and Master Level that is why this should be practiced at least after 3 months of regular practice.
